Update: Solved! McSpeedie's pointer below was what I was missing.

I'm hoping someone can tell me what stupid mistake I'm making trying to get Jaxx12-1.5.2 and spoolman to really talk to each other. They're partially talking, because the web admin page show that I can select spools and spool icons show up next to the tools but I still have the "Filament tracking is inactive. To get started, please select a spool." message and usage isn't getting pushed back to spoolman. I wasn't even getting that far until I found and followed the instructions here: https://github.com/gunnypatel/U1-klipper-configs/tree/main/spoolman after searching this sub. Any insights into stupid stuff I've probably missed? Thanks for any pointers!
