Is it really skill? or consistent exposure?
I was thinking earlier about how a lot of people quickly decide they’re “bad” at something after just a few tries. Like whether it’s math, sports, or even just talking to new people, there’s this instant label people give themselves, like “I’m not good at this.” etc
But I wonder how much of that is actually being bad, versus just not being familiar with it yet?
Because when you think about it, most things that people are good at now were probably awkward or difficult at the start too. It just doesn’t feel like that part matters anymore once they’ve improved. I don’t really know though,I’m not sure if that’s something you’re supposed to push through or if there are actually times where it really just means it’s not for you..
