Hey guys I am a Eastern Catholic and Apostolic Church Inquirer from a evangelical / non denominational background. I am fully convinced of Apostolic Christianity and will convert soon but I have a couple questions about salvation. Basically I had certain Protestant presuppositions about salvation that I want to clear up by learning what Catholicism Orthodoxy etc teaches about Salvation. I have tried understanding but all the predestination grace and stuff really confuses me. Could someone please summarise and explain as if you’d explain to a child what Catholicism definitively teaches on salvation, what is the Eastern view of it (Orthodox and Eastern Catholic) and how it compares to both Arminianism and Calvinism.
