Hi everyone,

I’m from India and I’m currently trying to enter the carbon market from the ground level.

My main interests are:

🌱 Biochar

🌳 Forestry / Agroforestry

♻️ Carbon Credit Project Development

🌾 Working with farmers and rural communities

I’m not looking for another online course or just a certificate. I want practical, field-level experience.

I’m willing to travel anywhere in India and work with a project developer, NGO, startup, researcher, farmer group, or organization where I can learn by actually working on a project.

I’m especially interested in understanding the complete project cycle—from project identification and baseline data to methodology, MRV, validation/verification and carbon-credit issuance.

I’m at an early stage and don’t have significant funding, but I’m willing to contribute my time, fieldwork, coordination and learning.

🌱 Looking to Start a Carbon Credit Venture – Need Guidance & Partners

I want to start a company focused on Carbon Credits, with initial focus on Forestry and Biochar projects.

I have been learning about carbon credits, sustainability and biochar, and I want to work on practical projects that can generate measurable environmental impact.

My biggest challenge right now is funding. I don't have sufficient capital to start the projects independently.

I’m looking to connect with:

• Carbon project developers / experts

• Mentors with practical carbon-market experience

• NGOs or organizations working in forestry & biochar

• Investors / CSR organizations

• Project partners who can support pilot projects

I’m not looking for shortcuts or guaranteed income. I want to learn, build a genuine project, measure the impact properly, and develop a long-term carbon-credit business.
