First time kitten owner

Hey there everyone, I recently took in this six week old (estimated by vet) from a friend who found him in at tree at another friends family farm, stuck up
In a tree. This is only day 2 that I’ve owned him but everything’s going good! (Outside of him pooping twice in my closet-), I’ve got him currently set up in my bathroom with a liter box, toys, food and water and an making sure he’s always got something to munch on.

I’m trying to slowly introduce him to my senior cat Truffles (16F) ((also featured at the end)) was just curious if any one had any tips/suggestions in that regard. I plan on bringing him back to the vet here soon (when my friend brought him in they recommended he come back in a week for some shots). But any tips/tricks for raising this little guy is much appreciated, thanks everyone! ^^

Introducing kitten to senior cat

Hey there everyone I just got my hands on what we believe is around a 6 week old kitten (estimated by a vet) that my friend named Yolk(M). But I just moved him into my bathroom today, it being the best spot to set up a home base. Truffles caught a glimpse of him now will only sit on the opposite side of the house, I’m sure I’m just overreacting given it’s the first day with him in the house. But I guess I’m just worried she’ll do her best to avoid him now that she knows he’s in the house. Again probably just overreacting just thought I’d ask if people had any tips. Was trying to follow Jackson Galaxy’s guide to introducing cats and I know eye contact was a big no-no at the start. Thanks again for any tips ^^
