I hope I didn't break meta progression destroying the sector 12 basestar
So apparently there's an underlying story going on across all the retries, and after doing this I got the ending that said "The final fleet has reached the galactica". I just discovered the shrine sector in this run so I'm not sure what the story is between that and the final run.
