Searching for a 1999 Documentary About JA Called "First Impressions"

According to a scant few online resources, there was a documentary produced in 1999 from Roundabout Productions called "First Impressions," narrated by Donald Sutherland, and according to the Jane Austen World blog, it: "features authors and Jane Austen scholars discussing love and first impressions, Pride and Prejudice, and the author.  Film clips from the 1939 and 1980’s film adaptations are used in this special, which is based on the commentary of Nora Ephron (director and writer of When Harry Met Sally), Helen Fielding (author, “Bridget Jones’s Diary”), Fay Weldon (author, screenplay for “Pride and Prejudice” 1980), Roger Rosenblatt (Editor), Prof. Marcia Folsom (Wheelock College), Edith Lank (Collector and JASNA member), Thomas Carpenter (Trustee at Jane Austen’s House, Chawton) and Judith French (author/performer, “The Woman)."

I would very much like to see this. Anyone know of a place online I can see it or a DVD I can purchase or borrow? Anyone have a copy in your personal collection? If it's on physical media, I would be happy to digitize it and make it available for subreddit members to view.

Landed my first real paid sponsorship

My channel (faceless video essays about movies and literature - no AI) is still small but growing (13.7k subs) but the audience and metrics are good for a certain type of demographic. I made a media kit a few weeks ago and sent it to a handful of brands that seemed like a good fit and one of them bit! My first paid 60-second brand read will go up in a video posting the first week of Sept.!

If I hadn't initiated contact it wouldn't have happened, so good lesson for me to learn about being proactive.

I also just had my very first month (July) of earning more than $1k in adsense revenue, so it's feeling pretty good right now. July had a couple of outlier videos so it's not the new normal or anything, but it's feeling something like momentum!

If anyone who has been through this process has any good-to-know advice to share, I'm all ears!

Darcy's First Proposal Comparison Across Adaptations (on YouTube)

Apologies for the self-promotion (I will not make it a habit). I'm new to the sub and wanted to introduce myself and my young and still-growing YouTube channel, Think Thing. I do deep dives (and medium wades) into film and TV literary adaptations and other stuff, and lately the channel has been almost exclusively focused on Jane Austen.

My most recent video is a comparison of Darcy's first proposal in all of the five major English language adaptations of Pride and Prejudice against Jane Austen's actual words (link in the comments).

The next video will be a reaction to the new S&S trailer (editing that now). I post about 1 video a week.

Cheers everyone!
