Is Foreign Object Covered During Waiting Period?
We got insurance for our pup about a week ago! Yesterday he swallows toilet paper and other things from the trash and has been vomiting for about 48 hours. While our accident coverage is in effect, we’re still in the waiting period for “illness.” They’re doing an xray and consultation and then other testing for pancreatitis and other issues. My question is, since this occurred after an “accident,” will this hospital visit be covered? I assume anything they find will be a pre existing condition, or how does that work? Or is this all an “illness,” and we’re screwed? Would love any insight.
EDIT: we have lemonade. The accident occurred about a week after accident coverage began.
