hi all! i’m doing the wild cave tour at jewel cave soon and am wondering how bad the shoe staining is with the manganese/if there’s a way to get it out?
as the title says…my boyfriend and i (both in mid-20’s) will be staying in deadwood next weekend and are looking for recs for restaurants or bars or if there’s a nightlife or anything lol :)
hi! exactly what the caption says, i took a plan b on the second day (out of 8) possible days of me ovulating but haven’t had any “ovulation” discharge yet. will i still get the fake period or is it too late?
Hey everyone! I have my BFA in Graphic Design and have been out of university for not too too long. I am really interested in informational and environmental design (and honestly maybe a little bit of wayfinding) but have no idea how to get there from where I’m at right now.
I’m currently a seasonal park ranger for the US NPS (and have been for 4 seasons now and absolutely love what I do!) but am missing the design aspect in my life. Unfortunately, the design positions for the NPS were pulled and really don’t exist anymore as of like 3 months ago. I want to get into environmental design and visual information design but don’t know how to make the jump from my current job to the design world. With my current job I’ve designed in-park brochures, street banners, and other informational material. I think I need to keep building my portfolio in that style of design but am nervous about trying to make this jump just because it’s so niche. Any advice would be great :)
My loving bf and I have been together for almost 2 years now, but we both travel around for work (making us LDR). For the few times we are in our home state together for a short period of time I really don’t experience too much anxiety, but when we are 2+ states apart, that’s when it kicks in. I don’t get anxiety about him cheating or leaving me, but I get anxiety about his safety. He is the sweetest soul and the most caring and loving guy and I just always want to make sure he is okay. I trust him that he is safe so I don’t know why my anxiety gets bad about it.
Sometimes I’ll text him multiple times just making sure he’s okay, if it’s unsusual for him to not answer my calls I’ll call a few times. If he goes out at night with friends or coworkers, that’s when the anxiety really kicks in. It causes me to lose sleep and wake up with anxiety attacks every 45 min/hour just to make sure he is alive and well. Once he gets back home, I can sleep like a baby. Sometimes I throw up, I’ll have a rapid heart rate, etc. We have had the conversation before about my anxiety, where it stems from in my past, and about reassurance. Again, he is the sweetest soul who reassures me, but sometimes he doesn’t update me when he’s out doing things…granted I know he’s never on his phone but maybe I’m just being too picky about that. He is always sweet when it comes to me having an anxiety attack about his safety and he always reassures me that he is okay and safe and alive, but I know this is probably annoying as hell for him and I’m anxious it’ll drive him away.
This could also stem from another issue of codependency that also stems from my past.
I feel bad constantly talking to him about it because it’s not his responsibility to fix a pre-existing issue I have.
How do I stop this cycle/how can I get help? It just keeps getting worse.
edit: I don’t see a therapist nor am I on meds or anything. I don’t know how to get a therapist and I really don’t want to be on anxiety meds :)
