Pop in hip/groin post op

hi everyone,

im about 13 weeks out from labral repair with FAI reconstruction in my left hip. I went back to work this week (as a nurse) and have overall felt pretty sore/achy. today I tried doing hip adductors and the weight I’ve been tolerating and immediately felt a painful pop/snap in my groin almost at my pelvic bone and am having burning in my inner thigh.

i dont think I messed up the surgery but has anyone had this happen?

wondering if anyone has any experience with scar tissue after labrum repair and could explain their symptoms/ the treatment.

im about 3 months out of labral repair with CAM lesion correction and also have borderline hip dysplasia. I’m continuing to have sharp pain with flexion and internal or external rotation but all other movements are relatively pain free. my PT is begining to question scar tissue but I don’t see my surgeon for another week.

wondering if anyone has had bilateral labral tears where only one required surgery?

I recently had a labral repair with CAM revision as well. with the FAI and borderline hip dysplagia I’m assuming I have them on the non-operative side as well. my non-operative hip frequently has pain similar to the side with the tear but my surgeon said you usually try to manage the second one with PT instead or surgery.
has anyone had success with this? the pain I get in my non-operative side is worse than it ever was on the side with the tear. I haven’t had any imaging done of it yet as my surgeon wanted to fix the known tear first and see if this pain is just from compensation.

about 11 weeks ago I had hip labrum repair with FAI correction for a CAM lesion. prior to the surgery I didn’t have much pain, just some instability with changing directions quickly which was my main reason for getting it fixed.

im now about 11 weeks post-op and while the doctor said it went great I’m still having the same symptoms as before with the instability when I try to side like and the sharp groin pain wifh hip abduction/addiction while the knee is flexed.

PT keeps telling me it’s just hip flexors being inflamed but my hip flexors don’t hurt at all when lifting my leg against resistance or climbing stairs. I see my surgeon on Monday for a follow up but just feel like the surgery didn’t work/wasn’t worth it. I was told I’d be running again at 3 months but I have so much hip pain walking more than a mile I couldnt imagine trying to run which is worrying me.
