Shadu Mati Ganpati visarjan at home — what do you actually do with the mud afterwards?

With Ganpati season coming up, I’m seeing a lot of people encouraging shadu mati Ganesh idols and saying that you can do the visarjan at home in a bucket/tub and then use the dissolved clay for plants, etc.

I genuinely like the idea of avoiding traditional immersion in water bodies, but I have one practical question for people living in apartments/flats:

What do you actually do with the shadu mati after home visarjan?

In my case:

- I live in a residential society.

- The society doesn’t allow us to dispose of the clay in the garden.

- I obviously can’t pour the clay into the toilet/bathroom drainage because it could cause choking/blockages.

- I’ve also heard that directly putting the clay into pots/plants isn’t necessarily ideal, especially if there are paints, colours, or other materials mixed into the idol.

So for someone living in a flat with limited space, what is the proper and practical way to dispose of or reuse the shadu mati after visarjan?

Are there any municipal collection centres, Ganpati visarjan arrangements, NGOs, or society-level solutions in Pune that accept the dissolved clay?

Would especially appreciate suggestions from people who have actually done home visarjan with a shadu mati idol. What did you do with the clay afterwards?

I’m trying to understand the complete process before deciding whether home visarjan is actually practical for an apartment. 🙏

Can I get a Seiko DressKX + G-Shock Casioak for ₹30–35k?

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to buy my first two proper watches and have narrowed it down to:

Seiko 5 Sports DressKX (SRPE series)

G-Shock Casioak (GA-2100)

My overall budget is around ₹30,000–35,000 for both watches combined.

I've heard that Seiko has recently increased prices, and discounts on the DressKX have become smaller compared to what they used to be. So I'm wondering what kind of deal is realistically possible right now.

I'm based in Pune and am willing to buy from a physical retailer if the deal is good. I'm looking at stores such as Just In Time, Helios, C. T. Pundole, etc., but I'm also open to reputable online retailers.

A few questions:

Is ₹30–35k for both realistically achievable?

What would be a good target price for the DressKX after discount?

What should I expect to pay for the GA-2100 Casioak?

Has anyone recently bought a DressKX in Pune? If so, what price did you get?

Are there any retailers/stores where I should specifically negotiate?

Would buying them together give me better leverage for a discount?

I'm not in a huge rush, so I'm happy to wait for a good deal.

Would really appreciate recent prices/deals from people who have actually bought these watches in India.
