Is there a way to significantly reduce the cost of a business flight from London to Hanoi?
Last year I went travelling in South East Asia and absolutely loved it. This year I am hoping to go back to Vietnam for a few weeks anytime within June-September. However, I am reluctant to fly economy the whole way again as a taller and stockier person. I did not enjoy 15+ hours of flying economy and am hoping to find an affordable way to fly business! I am currently a student and therefore keeping costs to a minimum is very important. I have tried different options such as London->Cairo-> New Delhi/Mumbai->Hanoi via google flights. However, all these options seem to fall short on inconvenience compared to the cost saving they provide, or the timings just do not work between layovers and would leave no time for error. I unfortunately am new to the Avios/amex world and so far do not possess enough points for redemption bookings - especially not within business class. Does anyone have any advice on how to save money on this journey? Sorry for making this post unnecessarily long!
