I am honestly extremely sad that I didn't even get shortlisted for the PI.

I prepared seriously and tried to do everything I could. I felt that I performed reasonably well in the test, so getting rejected at the shortlist stage is difficult to process.

I understand that there are probably factors beyond just how well I felt, and I am not trying to blame anyone. I just genuinely don't understand what I might be missing or what I should improve.

A few students who called the hostel office were reportedly told that the painting work is still incomplete in Zircon hostel and that we may be accommodated in another hostel for 1–2 weeks before shifting back.

If this is true, it would be quite difficult for those of us returning with a lot of luggage, since we'd have to move everything twice within a short period.

Has anyone received any official update or heard something different? Hopefully the work gets completed before reopening, or a more convenient arrangement is made.
