Vestibular migraine or ?

Hello I’m in desperate need of help ! I’ve had a major BPPV attack 2 months ago and I got treated for it at the ER. I also have a vestibular therapist and I have been doing vestibular habituation therapy. I also have been on betaserc 24 mg for 2 weeks now. this morning when I woke up after tilting my head up and down, left and right , I was extremely dizzy but no room spinning. but suddenly I had room spinning while eating breakfast and I bent down and I had vertigo lol. before this vertigo attack, I also had 2 other vertigo attacks. why does my vertigo keep recurring over these 2 months after my major attack even with VRT and betaserc ? I really don’t understand and also I’m a young adult I don’t think it’s age issues. Also, could it be vestibular migraines even though my vertigo is triggered by positions ? I suspect I might have VM because I have childhood vertigo, photophobia and motion sickness. please help 😭😭. also should I see a new vestibular therapist or neurologist ?

Does severity of BPPV attack increase likelihood of recurrence ?

Hi guys I had a severe BPPV attack in April and my recovery has been so slow. Since I had a major attack, does its severity increase my likelihood of getting another attack ?

Same or different BPPV attack ?

Hello everyone I really need help, vertigo has been causing me so much stress and anxiety these two months.

April 18 was the day I had my first major BPPV attack, didn’t go away for 3 weeks so I went to the ER (7th of May) and they did therapy on me and it sort of got rid of most of my vertigo (for my right ear)

Vertigo came back on 14th of May when I woke up tilting my head to the left

Went for vestibular therapy on 16th of May and the physiotherapist said it was just residual dizziness and he did not treat me, instead sent me home to do vestibular habituaton therapy

I did not do the therapy for a week as I was overseas (18 May -22 May)

When I was back, I did the therapy daily, including the semont maneuver for my right ear and habituation exercises

I went back to the hospital to see an ENT clinic (8th June) to do hearing tests, they said my hearing was good, they also did dix hallpike on my left and right ear but only right ear had residual dizziness.

16th June, I tried sleeping on my left side with my incline pillow but I woke up with vertigo and dizziness (like actual room spinning but it was milder than the first major attack), but when I tilted my head up and down and left and right the next day, there was no vertigo

I have been sleeping on an incline since 18 May and never on my back.

Been waking up with dizziness almost every day

I have been taking vitamin D and hydrating myself, I don’t drink or smoke and I go to the gym

After doing the therapy I do get ear fullness, ear pain sometimes

I do have light sensitivity and sometimes have snow vision in the sun, I also have motion sickness and seldom ringing in my right ear

Ever since I got my vertigo, my head feels like there is a rubber band around my head constantly and it feels tight

I just went to a private hospital ENT, he also did dix hallpike on me and found no nystagmus and I told him about my symptoms, he just prescribed betaserc to me for 3 months and said it’ll help me recover

I want to know why my vertigo keeps coming back even when I am doing the VRT, but when my vertigo is back it’s less intense than the first major attack and manageable, and also does this mean I’ll have another major attack coming ? And why doesn’t my vertigo come during the dix hallpike tests and only after I wake up from sleeping ? Will I ever recover :( ?

Bppv came back after treatment :(

I was diagnosed with BPPV at the hospital and they did some maneuvers on me and my bppv sort of went away and i was able to go home, but 5 days later my vertigo came back again :/ I was not told to continue the maneuvers at home and I am wondering if it’s normal that my BPPV came back so quickly. i would also like some advice on how to manage it i guess
