Fair warning this is gonna be long
So I started my first ever birth control in February, have gone through the whole deal of getting used to it and was fine, but now I started cramping and spotting the week I was supposed to start, but never got my actual period. That was July 11th about and I’m STILL mildly cramping and a tiny bit spotting daily.
Doctor said it’s irregular to still be having irregular cycles and that the whole losing your period shouldn’t happen in this one. However my mom said that she never got regular on the pill and she tried three different ones. My family history is my mom, grandma, great grandma, all of them having ovarian cysts and fibroids that messed them up with cycles and pregnancy etc.
My question is should I wait it out until the 11th or so of next month to see if I start, or would you all say this is worth switching? Has anyone gone through something similar? Honestly just needing some community on this because this sucks.
