Leaving TMobile because they changed my "for life" pricing. Just started researching a couple days ago and missed out on the 50% off the first year pricing. We have 5 lines so it's a big savings. Is it worth waiting around for the next deal? How long might I have to wait? Are they common or is it a once a year kinda thing?

I've been watching availability for Seattle games. There is now plenty of availability, even for the US v Australia game albeit at ridiculous prices.
The distribution of tickets available makes me think FIFA has messed up. Entire rows are available at higher prices but only one row in a section, at least as far as I can see with the atrocious seat maps. It looks to me like FIFA is opening up one row at a time to try to keep the FOMO going.
But my guess is that the touts have realized they can't resell what they bought at a profit in the first round games and anyone willing to pay $1000+ a ticket has already done so.
I've watched almost every game of every world cup since 1980. I'm a season ticket holder with the Sounders and I was ecstatic when I heard the WC was coming to Seattle. But FIFAs ridiculous attempt to gouge genuine soccer fans has left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I now have prices set in my own head that I'm willing to pay. They are much lower than current prices. So I'm going to continue sitting on the fence. If I can buy at my price I will. At the end of the day, it's just a soccer game....
