'The modern Babhans are the representatives of the ancient local Babhans'

'The modern Babhans are the representatives of the ancient local Babhans'

Source- The indo aryan races by Ramprasad Chandra

The Bhumihar/Babhan tribe's the representative of the ancient Babhans of Magadha.

The Babhans were among the first indo aryan waves into the region, who went on to become the local ruling class of magadha

As its said 'magadha is country of the babhans'

Some modern brahmin groups are trying to appropriate the term for themselves although it has no academic/historical support.

However the modern brahmins of magadha (mainly shakdwipis and other migrated groups) do not involve themselves in this larp and consider themselves to be brahmin , not babhan.

We're living in an absolutely failed majoritarian state

The Indian Republic in 2026 is a typical example of what a majoritarianistic state looks like.

Its ironical af how they still teach about shri Lanka as an example of majoritarianism to their kids lmao. I remember studying that chapter while i was in school.

A section of society isn't valued and get termed as oppressors, being constantly undervalued in political circles..........While the voting class (boomers) is fed hindutva slop constantly 24×7.

The interesting thing is how they've managed to portray the muslims as the enemy to the nation, religion.........It perfectly aligns with how a majoritarian gov creates a fake enemy to unite his votebank under a single umbrella, which is exactly what 🅱️indutva politics has done to the muslims.

And now they've realized they cant rely on that hindu-muslim thing forever, so they're trying to shift to that agda-pichhda thing.

To the Bhumihar youth, the republic's a sinking boat and sticking to it ensuring that you'll sink down with it. The economy is at its all time low, our image has tarnished globally, the politics is open to the dysgenic masses, and there's absolutely nothing you could do to change how it is. In this majoritarianistic state the motto is The m****ore you breed, the louder your voice gets. Ofc, your local 'vedic kshatriya' khetihar mjdur would be valued as he probably has 7-8 replicas of himself.

We're living in such a doomed part of the world.

In a hypothetical Bihar election which is held at this moment, based on your current experiences, which party would you likely vote?

You could also tell us why did you choose that option.
