Nokia 3230 with an identity crisis

I never had a fully working 3230, only defective one I sold for ~3$, though I wanted to buy another one, since I want to collect every S60v1 & S60v2 Nokia. And then, I stumbled upon THIS. Someone took their 3230, repainted shell parts into this pink color, painted logos, wrote Walkman, and then accurately clear coated it. It's so funny and ridiculous that I couldn't resist the urge to buy it. Kind of reminds me of ridiculous Chinese bootlegs with words "Nokia N95" and "Sony cybershot" written all over them.

Love me some overengineered, bulky clamshell smartphone

Nokia N71 is coolest looking Symbian clamshell ever. Don't care for RAZR-esque design of N76 and 6290 is too generic to me.

It's a good smartphone for it's time, though I get why it was a commercial failure back in the day. Too bulky as a clamshell for masses, not too exciting as something like N80 and N90 feature wise, while a regular person will probably be better off with N70, which had the exact same CPU, while having more optimised OS and more software because of backwards compatibility with everything on S60v2, that was simply cut off on Symbian 9.1. But I still think it's awesome, mainly because early N-series devices are peak aesthetics to me.

I stumbled upon a magnum opus

Hot wheels truly peaked in 1998 with this masterpiece. Nothing hotter than some hot seat.

Really glad to finally add this casting to my collection, 90's hot wheels aren't very common where I live.
