I currently have a K Custom High Definition Ride, but for some gigs I’m looking for something with a bit more wash that I can also crash when needed. I’ve been considering the A Sweet Ride because, from the recordings I’ve heard, it seems to have a nice balance of stick definition, wash, and crashability. My only concern is that it might be a bit too loud or overpowering for a jazz trio. Has anyone used one in that kind of setting?
