Mini Cellini thermostathe issues?
La Pavoni Mini Cellini – espresso temperature seems too low
Hi everyone,
I have a La Pavoni Mini Cellini and I’m having some issues with my espresso shots. They often seem to come out not hot enough, even though I make sure everything is properly preheated.
For example, today I used a fully preheated cup, which I preheated with boiling water. I then ran a full cup of water directly from the machine into it. The water measured only 75°C (167°F) in the cup.
That seems quite low to me, but I’m not sure what temperature I should actually expect from this machine, especially when measuring in the cup rather than directly at the group head.
Is 75°C / 167°F normal for the Mini Cellini, or does this suggest that something might be wrong with the machine or my temperature-management technique?
Any advice from other Mini Cellini owners would be appreciated!
