This deliberate obscuring of the beneficiary's role in creating and launching the solicitation violates:

  1. Section 8.2: Misleading, dishonest, and inaccurate campaign narrative regarding the origin and initiative of the fundraiser.
  2. Section 9.6: Misrepresenting the nature of the campaign and acting as a proxy shield to mislead donors about the circumstances of the solicitation.

How much will Vince the Judge award Shuli & Karl in legal fees?

Pretty sure the process in NY (if VTJ awards legal fees) would force Handsome Dan the Lawyer to prove his work hours and rate. VTJ may accept it on the papers BUT he may require Handsome Dan to prove it at an in-person, public hearing.
