So pretty much I have a friend who's birthday is coming up, I was going to plan an overnight trip (about 3 hours away) for a gift. Unfortunately after getting everything planned (thankfully not paid for) I was reminded that they were on call jury duty for the next like 3 months.

I was wondering if there is any way I can still plan this? Any way to have the friend contact anyone about seeing if that date is okay, or any way to wait and be safe to go if they aren't called in by a certain date? This friend never gets to do anything special and I'm really disappointed thinking this may not be able to work, and unfortunately going this place will not be possible if I miss this shot until at least April or May next year.

So it's my first time like properly trying to style a wig. It's a long one for Columbina from Genshin Impact. I probably went too all out for my first try, but I got a crimper and a bunch of tools... however, it doesn't seem the crimper is really doing anything? It looks about the same to me before and after, and because it's such a long wig it's taking what feels like forever.

I was wondering if this one was possibly preecrimped? I don't know if that's a thing. But is there anything I should be doing differently? Maybe higher temp or holding it longer?

First picture is half crimped half uncrimped. Then second picture is a close up at the crimped side. Third picture is a close up of the uncrimped side. All of these is after being brushed out. I was holding the crimper at 110-120F for about 5 seconds.

Over night vacation during on call Jury duty?

First time wig styling, not sure if this is how it is supposed to look after crimping?
