Usually it seems Super Mario (As a series) plushes released nowadays are generally larger than they used to be! With modern Jakks and the All Star Collection for example being larger by comparison to their previous versions.
Personally, I think I generally prefer the smaller sizes, it makes them easier to hold, and I think I think just a bit cuter honestly.

Which size for plushes do you prefer, do you like them the way they are now or do you prefer the smaller stature?

these arent the only super mario series plushes i own, rather this is just my MARIO plush collection if you see what im saying...
to go through them, i have
Goodstuff Mario (Medium one I guess they come in various sizes though)
Jakks Pacific Mario (I only have the bigger later version not the smaller one from the 2010s yet)
**Super Mario Galaxy Mario doll (**i guess not technically a plush but you know...)
Little Buddy Baby Mario
That bootleg MP5 Mario
Super Nintendo World Mario (they can vary greatly in appearance when I was there!)
All-Star Collection Marios (Sanei and Little Buddy)
2010s Little Buddy Mario (He donated his hat)
New Super Mario Bros Wii./2009 Sanei Mario (it's one of the two, dunno which but im learning on NSMBW. he got his hat from 2010s little buddy mario! ^w^)
Little Buddy Tanooki Mario
Global Holdings Fire Mario
Accessory Innovations Mario clip on hanger (Had him as a kid, but this is a different one)
Bootleg Ice Mario (hes kinda dumb looking but i just keep him around lol)
World of Nintendo Metal Mario
Little Buddy Squirrel Suit Mario (I think this guy is underrated, super cute!!)
and lastly, the 2004 Wendys Mario toy!
i like collecting these guys, hopefully ill get Goldie Mario next :P
