August 18, 2026 10:56PM Holden Beach —> What is happening?

So the moon began as a waning crescent tonight and then (if this is the moon) moved very quickly to the bottom of the ocean this late at night. And turned red. It’s now gone as of 11:08pm. Did anyone else see this? What’s happening?

Vent —> doctors won’t listen.

Hi. I suffer from eosinophilic asthma. I’m currently in excruciating pain, and feel as if I’m unable to catch my breath regardless of my Pulse ox staying at a mere 94-95. I have been hospitalized so many times for this before, I don’t understand why this is different.

I went to the emergency room (two different ones) twice yesterday because of how much pain and concern for my body I am currently in. The first emergency room basically kicked me out telling me I was fine and there was no reason for concern, regardless of my breathing and intense pain.

The second emergency room told me I wasn’t doing good, my breathing was shallow and tight, and they were unable to take blood due to my body constricting itself. They poked me about 7 times before finally getting good amounts of blood, which I don’t even know what they did with due to my portal saying no blood results had came back, even today. They eventually sent me home with pain medicine (Torodol) around 1 am this morning, after I denied a blood gas test due to having traumatic experiences from my last one. The doctor claimed he believed my pain, but it seems to me he did nothing to help me besides give me a dose of Torodol, which only helped me for so long.

I have called my pulmonologist 4 times since Saturday morning when my episode began, and he finally picked up today, well a nurse did. She said my pulmonologist has been out of city, and is finally back. They claim they’ll give me a call back.

I don’t know what to do with myself anymore. I am in so much pain and nothing is helping. I take Symbicort, and Albuterol both neb and emergency inhaler on the daily basis. I much rather be dead than feel this way right now. I go to sleep in fear of not waking up the next morning. I’m losing sleep over this. I can’t sleep regardless of my fear because of how much coughing, and misery I’m in.

Thanks for listening. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone else lose massive clumps of hair?

Pretty self explanatory. I’ve had asthma all my life but only recently since I’ve been diagnosed with eosinophilic asthma have I been losing clumps of hair. Is this normal?

Recently diagnosed (TW?)

Hello!!

After 4 months and 6 hospitalizations my pulmonologist has finally officially diagnosed me with eosinophilic asthma. I’ve been diagnosed with asthma all my life, but this is a new one.

I feel absolutely miserable. I feel like death is better than feeling like this.

My insurance has yet to cover injections, and I don’t know if it ever will. I’m thankful enough to have insurance, but it’s being ever so difficult here lately.

Is there any advice on moving forward with this? how much will this truly affect my life?
