After 20+ years of biting I said I was done!!! I’m 30 y/o and in nursing school. I imagined what patients would think seeing my nails red, raw, and bleeding and felt so scared and ashamed. I’m still picking at my cuticles and the skin but significantly less.

I bought a cuticle oil pen on Amazon and used it everytime I felt myself wanting to bite them. The first week was the hardest for sure, and I ended up picking my face. It helps a lot that my fingers aren’t constantly sore anymore and I don’t feel embarrassed by them.

We can do it!!

Was what I said okay?

I sell bamboo baby clothing my children outgrew. Every other review on new/used clothing is 5 star, no issues, mostly all stored the same way, same drawer, same dresser. The item was definitely not wet unless from the humidity (81% last few weeks) but that doesn’t make sense to me either? I fold it in a cellophane bag and then a polymailer. If it was wet going across the country it would mold.

Idk I felt like if I received an item in the condition as described I’d want to return it lol which I’d be more than happy to because it was sold for half of what I had it listed as. Am I crazy for being annoyed about it? I sell mostly used items and im afraid it will hurt sales going forward. Should I say or offer anything else?

Appreciate gift for college custodians

Hi everyone,

I hope this okay to ask. I am a returning student at my local community college and I’ve been back for 1.5 years now (hopefully 2 more if I get into the nursing program). I’m taking a 6 week summer course and the lab is gross after class. I dropped a heart on the floor and when I was cleaning it up, I really thought about the custodial staff. If I see them I always greet them and say goodbye, how are you, have a nice day, etc.

I would like to get them (2 staff) something small just to be like hey I see you and appreciate you!

I know it would be appreciated if I just said it, which I agree, but one doesn’t really like to talk so I’d like to be able to give a gift or card as well. My first thought was a Wawa gift card because gas is painfully expensive, or they could always get food. Shoprite is also nearby. I’d crochet something but that’s not in the cards right now time wise lol. If it makes a difference they are men late 30s and 50s. I don’t know anything personal about them.

Thank you for your help!!
