hey ! temporary visitor here. I always heard Canadians are polite but haven’t met anyone polite infact the opposite. places I visited GTA and working on project with a bank. Took uber and gets asked am I on PR . Am just a visitor came here to complete the project. i had opposite experience in US. Am I missing something here ? I’m an Indian immigrant living in Canada, and I’m planning a 21-day trip to Australia. I really want to check out the Melbourne cafe scene, see some Salties (crocodiles), and experience genuine Aussie life without feeling like a typical, basic tourist.
Arrive in Darwin and stay there for 3 days and rest am still planning the itenary.
I’m also very keen to explore regional city life and am completely flexible on where to go. Since my dream of migrating there permanently didn't work out, I really want to make the most of these three weeks.
Which regional cities would you recommend for the best local experience? Thanks!
