how to get rid of bad smell from cpap? need to buy new?

I ended up unknowingly using water in the humidifier chamber that had some kind of impurities. it occurred over 3 nights stay at a hostel.

after that no matter how well I clean the chamber and the tubes, there is always a slightly foul smell coming through. unfortunately I think its from the cpap itself.

is there anything to do or I gotta buy a new one?

CPAP treatment going well but suboccipital pain emerged

Hi all,

I started CPAP almost a year ago now and it has been quite success for me.

I regularly sleep around 6 hours a night with it, no problem.

However, a surprising issue has emerged: i have started to have really tight suboccipital muscles, those just below the skull in the back of the neck. It makes my days really quite painful especially as I have an office job unfortunately.

I use a resmed p10 nose pillow mask with a chin strap.

any idea if it is the headbands that cause it or maybe my side sleeper position? However I always used to side sleep...

so it feels like it must be the headstraps...

Why does everyone here spread FUD about reoccurrence?

There, I said it... I don't believe most of you have a reoccurrence, you're just anxious because that is all you can think of...

My CPAP was dialled in for me at 1500 metres. Now I'm at sea level. How to adjust settings?

Hi guys, so yeah I was diagnosed last year and it was in a state that is at 1500 metres altitude. Now I'm holidaying a month at sea level. The CPAP feels a little different, a little sluggish here at sea level... how can I adjust it slightly ?
