Hey yall im now the proud owner of a 1976 yamaha ty175. Its my first bike and i need a helmet. I was hoping to do some hard enduro or trials riding with it as i learn. I would really just be taking it on slow single tracks and the occaisonal dirt farm road. Looking for something cheap, safe, and good vertical visiblility for trials stuff.

Im wary of open face helmets because i would like to do things other than trials riding as well.

I dont live anywhere particularly warm, in fact quite the opposite, so ventilation doesnt need to be extreme.

i keep seeing these jackets on Ebay and poshmark for tons of money and hearing whispers of their incredible performance on forums that have been preserved since 2006, references to Dakar and other 80s races, but when i try to find out more... nothing. its like a ghost.

from my understanding the company went under but people still revere the jackets?
