Having half a seat because of a very large individual
Please don't hate. I have nothing personal against this person. I'm pissed at the airline.
I was sat next to a 400 pound man for my last flight. I have never been more uncomfortable on a flight before. My body was engulfed in this stranger's body and I want my money back. It was close to inhumane in my opinion and I do regret not getting off and asking for a different flight. I was fighting anxiety attacks the whole way. Has anyone ever had any luck complaining about this or getting flight credit?
Why don't they enforce anything? It doesn't seem fair.
EDIT. Thanks everyone for the discussion. I don't believe my take is perfect but I also think there can be change. It seems like you kind of have to pick side to screw over. Either the person with a disability, or the unhappy campers like me. Most people are fine with me being screwed over and that's ok too
