What is this 3 fixed/ 16 variable thing mean?

What is this 3 fixed/ 16 variable thing mean?

Many times I have seen this fixed/variable force or recovery frame thing. What does it mean? Also does having 20 stun frames after nlight allow for any new true or confirmed combos? (by confirmed I mean sure hit if opponent has no dodge)

Offtopic but I really need your help.

I just moved to USA 1 month ago, moved into my new place a few days back. I want to buy a router but don’t know what to look for in amazon. My internet connection is 100Mbps and its a two story house ( we call it duplex in my country) the router would be in the bottom floor and my bedroom is in the top one. Try to specify the configuration rather than a specific model because the specific router may not have lower price in amazon (due to not havving an offer or sale).

Ofcourse I wish to play brawl after setting up my internet. Thanks :-)

Why is there no wu shang in the pro 1v1 scene?

Just curious, why don’t pro players play wu shang in the 1v1 scene now? Seems like a great legend with good sigs. It used to be common pick before.

Help a Greatsword noob

I know that slight dash turn around nlight catches all inward dodges and slight dash nlight catches all outward dodges. But what about neutral, up and down? I have seen seikuz say that GS has almost 50/50 dodge reads and all dodges can be caught by the aforementioned 2 variations (i.e. dash and turn around nlight or normal nlight). But I feel like you have to dash cancel later, i.e. travel farther and then turn around nlight to catch up and nutral dodges.

Can someone explain how to read all the dodges with as less as possible moves? I am an absolute begginer in GS and thinking of using jayun as sword is fast and has kill confirms which GS does not have.

Thanks in advance.

If you changed you main, why?

Did you guys ever change your main? If so then why? Changing my main threw me down in elos, changing main seems tough. Though I somewhat want to change my main because I don't really like lance (I main orion).

Context: I am a consistent high gold player just reached plat for the first time a few days earlier (SEA server). I main orion for now (lvl 48). I have a lvl 38 wu shang. I pretty much didn't play any other legends, maybe a little dusk (lvl 18). And on wu shang gaunts, I pretty much just use sigs and recovery. When I switch from wu shang to orion I easily gain 100 elo. I would like to main spear that's why I am playing orion wu shang dusk hattori and so on. I want switch from orion because I dont like lance.

Question:

  1. I have heard gaunts are harder than some other weapons. So should I play some other easier weapon? Am I am too new for gaunts? I have about 145 hours in the game.

  2. My goal is reaching higher elo as fast as I can and I want to commit to one legend so that I can learn it in depth. Is climbing in the ranked harder with gaunts compared to maybe axe, lance, hammer? As gaunts have lower damage per hit compared to those weapons. By 'harder' I mean the time required to reach certain elo.

Thanks in advance.
