RBC Banking Advisor (remote/hybrid) — what’s the training and the actual job like?
Hey everyone,
I just got an offer from Tek Systems for a remote/hybrid RBC Banking Advisor role (the one that’s 4 days WFH and 1 day in-branch after training). Just wanted to get some honest reality checks from anyone currently in this role or who has been through it:
The 7-12 weeks training: What’s the vibe like? It said it’s virtual meeting from home, just wondering if it is just audio or video meeting. How heavy is the training?
Background check: Roughly how long does the screening take? I have been waiting for almost two weeks now.
The hidden stuff: What are the most annoying or unexpected parts? Is it really a heavy sales grind disguised as an advisor role? What do you actually end up doing on that one in-branch day?
Appreciate any thoughts or survival tips. Cheers!
