I grabbed it because it seemed like an interesting book. I didn't notice the name and the pressed leaves until I got home. I think the leaves are a more recent addition. Still pretty cool though.

After finding a Squibnocket point a couple of weeks ago, I'm trying to learn more about quartz identification. Picked these pieces up in the woods behind my house in Northern Rhode Island. I think some of it might be debitage, but I'm not sure. Does anything stand out to you?

I also posted some close ups of 2 of the bigger pieces. One is oddly shaped and the other is very sharp, like a scraper. I appreciate any feedback or help from people with quartz experience. Just trying to learn more about my local history. Thank you all very much! Edit- I know the pics aren't the best, I can take a better pic if anything looks worth a closer inspection.

Found In Rhode Island. Not sure if it's JAR or a point.

Found this in the woods of Northern Rhode Island. Not sure if it's just a natural shape or an arrowhead. Thanks for any help!

Boston venue

Hey. We're heading up to Boston, but could only get tickets for the 2nd night. As of right now, it doesn't look like we'll be able to get tickets for night 1 unless we sell our firstborn. We're staying at a hotel nearby, so I was wondering if you can hear the show from anywhere near the venue. Obviously the sound wouldn't be as good as inside, but I figured since we're in the area we might check it out if it's worth it.

Is anyone here a fan of Steven Wilson's music? It has been confirmed that David is featured as the narrator on his upcoming album!

Not sure how many prog rock fans are out there, but my 2 fandoms are colliding, and I'm so excited!! Even if you're not a fan of this type of music, you get to listen to David's voice recorded in high quality audio. It's a win all around!!
