Is a stopover worth it?

Hello,

I have a stopover in Doha for almost 19 hours. I arrive at around 1:30 pm. I chose this flight just to explore Qatar. I am now contemplating if I should change this because I just checked the weather for tomorrow and it’ll be like 39 degrees celsius. Is exploring Qatar worth it despite the weather?

Dubai gold

Hi everyone! I am visiting Dubai from Canada! I got me some gold in Dubai but I am not sure if I got a good deal!

Gold per gram was 375 dirhams and I think they charged me a “making charge” of 70 dirhams per gram. Is the making charge too much? Are these worth the price? Please let me know!!! Thank you!

  1. 18k necklace 9.72 grams
    Total amount with 5% VAT is 4,320 dirhams
  2. 18k earrings 2.37 grams
    Total amount with 5% VAT is 1,050 dirhams

Total is 5,370 dirhams
