Breaking into Fintech PM

Hi folks! I am looking to understand how people are breaking into fintech PM in western eu/asia. I have 7+ years exp in banking research and consulting and really enjoyed app implementation and build projects. I will be going for my MBA this year and would love to work in a fintech building something tangible rather than strategy consulting.

I have commerce/business undergrad background. I know there are glaring gaps - I dont know coding and I havent handled pnl of the team. I have driven the entire process of app building for banks from designing screens to researching regulations and policies, conducting customer interviews, building marketing content, working with all cross functional teams, getting approvals from cxos, etc. I understand agile and scrum methodologies really well but I have not taken a course online for it.

My questions:

  1. Is there any course I need to take for those first round of interviews/resume building for this role?

  2. Since top mgmt has become super AI obsessed, are there any courses you are taking that is helping in your day to day work as a PM?

  3. Any learnings from tenured PMs as I try to navigate this industry?

Thankyou!

Solo trip, female, end of July, 30th birthday

Hi all! I am planning a solo trip july end for my 30th birthday. Do not want to be at home. Want a peaceful and fun birthday trip. Budget 20k for 4/5 days. I really liked the vibe of Dharamkot when I went there in 2024, but it will be too rainy and dangerous for the hills. Goa or Pondy is a place I'd do again with friends, maybe not solo this time. Somehow gravitating towards Pushkar, thanks to my boyfriend Claude, but I am open to any suggestions. Thankyou!!!

Edit - Forgot to mention that I am no Khiladi 786 so any suggestions where its safe to travel for female solo travellers would be amazing

Are McKinsey consultants. And guess what, they say it explicitly in the movie that its Mckinsey. They are hired by a rich nepo kid who doesn't know what to do with this billion dollar business empire he inherited from his dead father. He hires these management consultants, one of them casually slips in his intro that he's "Harvard MBA, not important" and then talks about how they need to unleash the beast and downsize multiple departments in the fashion magazine company Runway (which the movie is about), and optimize for costs...it was highkey embarassing to watch

Hi all! I am new to the sub. I love fruity fragrances. I am looking for something that comes close to the synthetic fruity scent of the blue sketch pen we all used when we were younger. Ideally EDP that lasts at least 6 hours and doesn't fade into a musky scent, remains fresh. Thankyou

Budget INR 2-3k.
