Letter to the Dirty Heads
Dear Dirty Heads,
I’ve wanted to write this for a long time.
Back in 2018, I was working at a legacy cannabis dispensary when my best friend introduced me to your music. The first song she played was Vacation, and I was instantly hooked.
Over the years, it became so much more than a song—it became a mindset. It resonated so deeply that I eventually got "Always On Vacation" tattooed on me. It’s my daily reminder to slow down, protect my peace, and find joy exactly where I am.
Your music has been the soundtrack to my life ever since—the drives, the smoke sessions, the good days, and the hard ones. Every album found me right when I needed it.
On July 26, things come full circle. That same best friend, a crew of friends we’ve met along the way, and I are finally seeing you live. It’s my very first Dirty Heads show, and I can't wait.
I don’t need anything from this note. I just wanted to say thank you for creating music that has had such a profound, positive impact on my life. You may never know all the stories connected to your songs, but mine is proudly one of them.
