I have a sweet corgi that really needs to go on a walk daily. He’s a little chubby. My problem is that I go to work at 4am and home at 2pm when it is too hot for him to walk. Our bed time is 7:30 pm and it’s usually still pretty warm. He will walk a bit then lay in the shade and he is too big for me to carry back to the house. I am wondering if there is any place that I am able to walk him indoors? He is well trained and loves people and other dogs. I feel so bad because I know he is bored. I chase his around our yard but he will play for a few then lay in the shade or go in the house. I need ideas for exercise or somewhere to walk/run off his energy.
