Fuel pump issue in UK

I've had an intermittent fault on my 2017 Stelvio for a year or more now... When it is "hot" the car will stall and we get the engine warning light and then won't start until the car cools down. I get error codes P0087 and P008A. This usually happens after a stop and restart within 5 mins (including if I forget to turn the Stop/Start off . Thankfully most of the time it is before we move off so not dangerous but it happened to me once whilst driving along an urban road and I managed to cruise to the side of the road.... After letting the car sit and cool down it will restart and 2 or 3 drives later will auto clear the engine light.

I see in the US there is a safety recall for what sounds like this issue...but nothing in the UK.

I'm trying to decide what to do... Get it repaired by my local trusted non-Alfa garage for a good price. Or take it to Alfa to get it repaired for a higher cost in the hope the recall might get expanded and I'll get the money back....

Alfa UK say it could be a different issue which I agree with but what I'd really like is them to say replace it if the pump that comes out is the one that is being recalled we will pay and if not it is on you...but I'm on a hiding to nothing with that right?

UK Car Fuel Pump issue - seems similar to a US recall

My Stelvio which is either MY2017 or MY2018 (it seemed to just miss out on the Android Auto upgrade) has an issue where it stalls when the weather is hot. Trying to start it immediately usually fails - it cranks but doesn't start. The error codes are P0087 and P008A. Leaving it to cool for a bit and then trying again usually works. Also most times it happens just after a stop and restart soon after.

My main question is I can see this: https://www.reddit.com/r/AlfaRomeo/comments/1nijzs0/chrysler_fca_us_llc_is_recalling_certain_20172019/ for a recall that sounds like the issue in the USA but I'm in the UK - how does that work? Am I going to be able to get Alfa to do the work under the recall?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Solis inverter settings for Fogstar batteries

My "Fogstar Energy IP65-Rated 48V 48.3kWh Modular Battery Stack" finally arrived after being on order for ages... They are rated as "Cycle Life: 8,000 cycles at 91% DOD"

So am I right to think I should set my "Over Discharge" to 9% (100% 91%). Recovery seems to be at 10% and Force charge I've set to 5%.

Can anyone help me make sure this is correct?

G99 No battery export?

I had a system installed with an 8kw Solis hybrid inverter and I'm getting batteries as soon as they are back in stock.

My installer applied for g99 and we got it back in a few days for 8kw however the installer said that I wasn't allowed to export from battery only solar.

I'm looking at the PDF I got from the DNO and there is no mention of a restriction or batteries at all.

Where would I see/confirm this restriction? How would they even know it was from battery (unless the middle of the night)?

Thanks
