Is AutoExplore (I have it bound to Numpad 0) broken?

I remember seeing a patch note saying it had been improved, but honestly it feels less intelligent than it did last year.

For example:

1.
If I walk up to a small room and press 0, I remember AutoExplore would usually continue exploring that room first, since there normally isn't much left to check.

Now, it often turns around and walks all the way back through areas I've already explored just to look for another unexplored path.

Instead, it gives up on entering the room and checking the things inside that are likely still worth inspecting. Then it comes back later anyway, which just wastes time by making it walk the same route twice.

2.
Likewise, if there's something nearby like a bookshelf, I remember AutoExplore would inspect or loot nearby interactable objects before moving on.

Now it sometimes ignores them, turns around, and runs off somewhere else to continue exploring.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I just remembering the old behavior incorrectly?

Are there any mods that simplify liquid/slime cleanup and settlement maintenance?

1️⃣ Slime / liquid cleanup is too tedious

The situation I’m currently facing is:

  • After settlements or combat, large amounts of liquids are left behind (slime, oil, chemical fluids, etc.)
  • The character also repeatedly gets covered in various liquid status effects
  • The current way to deal with it is usually:
    • Collect everything into containers
    • Then haul it to sell or discard → This is very tedious and repetitive

I would like to ask if there is:

  • A way to quickly clean liquids from the character or the ground
  • Or a mod that simplifies / automatically handles these liquids

2️⃣ Settlement environment maintenance (thorns / terrain)

For example, areas like Six Day Stilt:

  • A large amount of thorns or clutter can grow
  • This affects movement and visibility
  • Clearing them requires a lot of manual work

I would like to ask if there is:

  • A mod for automatic terrain maintenance
  • Or a way to restore settlements to their original state

3️⃣ NPC hostility / accidental aggression issue

Occasionally after accidentally damaging NPCs (e.g. villagers in Joppa):

  • They become permanently hostile
  • Even after waiting for some time, it cannot be resolved

I would like to ask if there is:

  • A mod to reset NPC hostility / crime status
  • Or any possible workaround for this issue

Are Pets of Harvest Dawn only available at the start of the game?

I’m already well into my current playthrough and am considering supporting the game by purchasing the Dromad Deluxe Edition.

I would like to clarify a few things:

Are Pets of Harvest Dawn only granted at the beginning of a new game?
If I buy the Deluxe Edition mid-playthrough, is it still possible to obtain the pet content?
If a pet dies during gameplay, is there currently any way to revive or reacquire it?
If not, is there any planned system or NPC in settlements that would allow pet revival or regeneration in the future

Lower generation limits, worse quality, and garbage VFR

Grok Imagine-generated MP4 videos have long been cutting corners here and there; most people just don’t realize it. They often use VFR (Variable Frame Rate), and anyone with a good eye can easily spot the issues.

Normal videos are CRF!

The reason I noticed this was:

  1. It feels strange after watching for a while, and my eyes start to feel uncomfortable
  2. I play DFL (DeepFaceLab), and after training and merging the output into adult videos (action footage comparable to Hollywood films), something was off and didn’t align properly. That’s when I realized—damn it, this AI garbage was using VFR

I can’t find the gold or HP values in this game at all. I remember that before, when I tried scanning gold and modifying it, the game would just crash…

Recently I noticed the game has added quite a lot of new content. Before, I had to copy my save files, and if I failed, overwrite them back — it’s really tedious…==

I want to know how to actually use Cheat Engine to enjoy this game properly.
