
Xfinity Support tried to trick me into getting mobile service during a completely unrelated support issue
Basically as the title says, I was reaching out to support for an unrelated issue when the agent asked me for my IMEI number. I thought this was odd, as the issue was with my modem, not my phone (which doesn't even use Xfinity's service). If I didn't know any better, I might have followed their instructions and likely ended up with an xfinity mobile number... I don't understand how this is acceptable.
