Lost my phone in the grand river today..
Hi all,
Paddled the grand river today from south cambridge to glen morris. Beautiful paddle btw.
I had my phone in a case attached to a lanyard which was around my neck so I wouldn't lose it!..
Had to take it off my neck to take a layer off though.. so I put my life jacket, the layer and my phone behind me in my inflatable kayak.
Arrived at my destination.. No phone to be found...
I think it was sitting atop my life jacket or something an slid off of it and over the side somewhere along the way :(
I tried using find my but the last ping shows it at waterworks park. Which is upstream from where I put in :/
I know its a long shot but it's making me feel a bit better to post here and see if anyone might have found it and see this.
Or maybe theres someone wants to take a crack at looking for it?? I think its somewhere in the first half of the paddle.
The lanyard case is black (Not easy to spot :') ) and its a google pixel 8
