Working on block island this summer for the first time. All of my coworkers saying they made crazy money last year but this year has been extremely slow. Most saying they made in the 40-45k range but year to date I haven't even made 5k yet and we're almost halfway through the season. To make 45k this season I would need to make almost 4k a week every week for the next 12 straight weeks and with the slowdown that happens in late august after school starts up there's just no way that's gonna be a reality.

Wondering if any other seasonal bartenders and servers are experiencing the same thing.
