Soo-Won meta is peak

Warning: the text below contains major spoilers for the End of dragons DLC.

I have done the Soo-Won meta over 50 times already and I think the Soo-Won meta is among the best, if not the best meta there is. 1 hour before the meta starts, you can prepare sections of the map and complete events, in order to increase your damage during the meta. Then the next hour the meta starts. This almost 1 hour lasting meta is one that actually requires a commander and teamwork to complete. It's not one that you can just walk through without commander, further reïnforcing the meta feel of this meta. You split up in 3 lanes, complete some events, push through certain sections and clear your way to the boss. When the 3 lanes are done you all gather back in the middle to complete one final event before the boss. During this event you gather elder dragon essence, a pullback to everything that happened before this meta. The killing of Zhaitan, Mordemoth, Kralkatorrik, Jormag and Primordus, now one final dragon left, Soo-Won.

You travel to the top of the tower where you will finally meet the void corrupted Soo-Won. During the meta you will have to deal with Soo-Won's powerful AoE attacks, which are, in comparison to some newer metas, clearly noticable. The meta has multiple phases. Defeating mini bosses, fighting adds and reuniting your soul from the bottom of the tower with your body on the top of the tower. For me it's the powerful music, desperate pleas of Aurene and Soo-Won's powerful attacks that give this meta the end of the world/all or nothing vibe that I enjoy.

Is the meta more profitable than some others, to make up for the duration? Not really, but the meta is a lot of fun and the devs made something special. I will definitely do this meta another 50 times.

Living world season 4 is peak

I've replayed LWS4 recently, because I really wanted to replay the story chapters again. All I want to say is, Living world season 4 is absolutely, without a doubt in my mind, the best story (and perhaps content) in the entirety of Guild Wars 2. The amazing cinematics of Kralkatorrik killing Aurene over and over again and of you flying after Kralkatorrik through the mists on Aurene's back, before eventually shooting him out of the sky are amazing. The chapter all or nothing still lingers in my mind. You feel the tension in the air as you're perparing to face Kralkatorrik and then, when the battle commences, everything you've prepared for ends in disaster and you feel like you've failed the world.

LWS4 has everything, gorgeous maps, 2 very important mounts (roller beetle and skyscale), amazing meta events (Deathbranded shatterer, Kralkatorrik fight, etc) and perhaps the best karma farming map in the game (Dragonfall). I've had the loadingscreen of Thunderhead keep as my wallpaper for close to 4 years now.

What is your favorite Aurene variant legendary?

I am currently working towards a gen 3, Aurene legendary and intent on getting either the Kralkatorrik, Zhaithan, Jormag or Primordus version. The only problem I have is which one I would like to get. I think all of them are gorgeous and have awesome draw, execute and footfall effects, so it got me wondering. What Aurene variant legendary is your favorite?

What is the hardest meta event/boss fight?

From the release Soo-Won meta event being nearly impossible to complete within the time limit, basically requiring 50 competent people with extended knowledge of the event to be able to complete it. To the Eparch boss fight, during the into the spider's lair meta event. What is the hardest boss fight/meta event in your opinion?
