Southpaw stance lets me “bounce” better…?

I recently started working on my southpaw stance after having an injury on my left hand and I prioritize the lead hand a lot when fighter since I’m an outboxer kind of.

I noticed that when I’m in my southpaw stance, it’s so much easier for me to “bounce” and just be more light and nimble on my feet. The biggest difference I can feel is when I step back and throw shots. Like stepping back and then exploding back in with shots feel so much more smoother and efficient as compared to my regular orthodox stance.

Is it just me or has anyone else also experienced this? I’m guessing it could be due to the weight distribution and strength since my right leg is obviously stronger and used to more load when throwing power shots so it’s much easier to step back. Idk.

Do you guys train "MMA" or focus on each discipine at a time

I remember Illia mentioning that he doesn't train "MMA" he goes to pure boxing gyms to improve his boxing or pure wrestling gyms to improve his wrestling etc. I'm just wondering if this is a normal approach that most MMA guys take?

Too stiff and not flexible enough to get into Muay Thai?

Amateur boxer here, I was debating whether I should get into Muay Thai first or wrestling after I stop competing in boxing because I want to expand my skillset and transition into MMA. I just feel like I would suck at throwing kicks cause my legs and hamstrings are stiff asf. Do you need to have flexibility to be able to throw good kicks or its something that gets better as you train?

Tryna fix skinny fat build, need advice

Trying to fix this skinny fat build, as you can see I have some muscle but the midsection is covered with fat.

What I wanted to get your thoughts on is what do you think about my arms especially my shoulders. The thing is, from the side, my arms look huge, but from the front they look narrow as fuck (might be an illusion due to having a fatter and wider midsection).

Do you think I should focus more on front or side delts? I’ve also added hammer curls into my routine since I heard it helps make ur arms look wider from the front.

Thanks for the help!

Why do boxers not use Groin cups in sparring

I always see boxers wearing the groin guard that wraps around your waist. Why don't they use the cups, i feel like it's more confortable and if they fight with it on, it should make sense to use it in sparring too? But surely there is a reason for it. I'm guessing its because body one gives some more protection against body shots?

What are some good fights to watch between a short and tall boxers where the shorter one wins?

I'm fighting this Sat at 132lbs and my opponent is like 6'0 while im 5'7. I havent really fought anything that tall so just wanted to analyse some great fights where the shorter boxer beat the taller one. I only know Tank vs Barrios.
