BG 2.0 mag release - swap, DIY, different holster?

I have not had my BG 2.0 long, but with holster(tulster profile+) arriving a few days ago I have been testing it out and initially had no problems until the one day I didn't put an undershirt on. The rough mag release felt like it was pinching and rubbing me raw I eventually had to take it off.

Are there any companies making a mag release that is either shorter or less gritty or am I going to have to sand it down or take a dremel to it? I saw posts of folks complaining mag release ejecting them accidentally but have not had it happen yet. Has me re considering though if I order a holster elsewhere that covers the release instead. 3 prior carry guns over the years, never ran into this issue.

Cleaning questions

I got my Pro Varmint 16.5" less than a week ago and I already have 300 rounds through it suppressed, Probably have even more once I get my scope back from arken as I am just plinking with a prism dot(slx 1x only thing I had) breaking in the rifle. Bear with me because maybe this is a tad longer than it needs to be, its almost 4am and i am tired.

I see a lot of good reviews with bore tech products, I already use their rimfire and c4 cleaners but nothing else. With my other 22lr, I usually do a quick boresnake 500+ rounds if its dirty but I never really knew about this carbon ring stuff. Perhaps because I didn't shoot half as much as I do suppressed I had to clean it less often.

Bore guide - Necessary or not? Despite bore tech being so highly reviewed, I see a lot of posts about it still not fitting correctly or that it can be tricky to get into place and will leak solvent all over.

Cleaning rods - I only have a cheap hoppes and some other brand rod that is 3 pieces. They don't feel too sturdy, but maybe its because the only 22lr ive cleaned recently with it is a 10/22 with a Kidd barrel. I hear cz457 barrels are quite a bit tighter than standard 22lr, The Pro Varmint doesn't have a match barrel afaik but I still saw posts about regular 22lr boresnakes, jags and such not fitting.

I don't currently do any competition shooting(future plans) and maybe I am just overthinking this right now. Do I want .17 cal or .20 cal brushes/jags to fit better? Will a .17 cal brush even clean anything? Should I just use my existing chamber mop/brush I use on my 10/22 when I get more rounds through the CZ and worry about what will fit in the barrel later?

Spending ~$120 for a cleaning rod and bore guide seems excessive when itll only be usable for my one rifle(10/22 isn't drilled). I would rather put that on extra ammo and magazines. There are cheaper alternatives I found(raiseek) but with mixed opinions again. Any feedback or opinions on this stuff specifically with the cz457 in mind is appreciated!

So my arken EP5 arrived yesterday I just unboxed it and am kind of unsure what I should be feeling on this. It appears lightly used already, has a dot on the front lens and was dirty. Both sides of the lenses have something on the inside I can't wipe off, almost like sun exposure? or something else I don't know.

I gave it a quick look through and it appears fine, I can't see anything functionally wrong with it yet but am wondering if any of these issues I am seeing could become one down the line. I am going to contact their customer support just in case, none of this wipes off it is not on the outer lens. I guess I was kind of expecting a new scope that had not been handled before since I bought it new.

Should I actually be upset over this considering it appears to work fine or am I just being fussy over cosmetic issues? if it truly is only cosmetic that is fine.

Update - Not even going to worry about it, Sent them an email for a full return of scope/rings instead of replacement and am going to keep on deciding what scope I want to replace it with.

I kind of want to get a tripod for my rifles, mainly for 22lr (cz457, 10/22). I am wondering if ones like the bog deathgrip are any good if you can't use the rail mounted options.

I planned on building a small little bench to shoot at for my home range but right now I have nothing and need something that I could move as needed. I do not have a way to currently mount the rail ones so the clamp style would be the cheaper and quicker options but I am wondering what thoughts are for these.

Would it be better to buy something like the caldwell stable table lite instead of a tripod?
