Best Budget Scope for a CZ 457?

Hi guys,

I just bought a CZ 457 and I’m looking for a decent budget scope.

Mostly for target shooting around 50–100 yards. Don’t want to spend too much, just something with good value for the money.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Range day with the pro varmint

Testing out different ammo at 50yrds with a bit of wind. It seems to really like the SK match and SK long range.

lurking for my first

Been in the 10/22 world a good bit and time for me to get a 457. Knowing I am going to change the stock, should I just get the cheap synthetic stock version? Is the action for all of the models the same with just difference of barrel length and threaded? I want it to be 17hmr btw.

Cleaning questions

I got my Pro Varmint 16.5" less than a week ago and I already have 300 rounds through it suppressed, Probably have even more once I get my scope back from arken as I am just plinking with a prism dot(slx 1x only thing I had) breaking in the rifle. Bear with me because maybe this is a tad longer than it needs to be, its almost 4am and i am tired.

I see a lot of good reviews with bore tech products, I already use their rimfire and c4 cleaners but nothing else. With my other 22lr, I usually do a quick boresnake 500+ rounds if its dirty but I never really knew about this carbon ring stuff. Perhaps because I didn't shoot half as much as I do suppressed I had to clean it less often.

Bore guide - Necessary or not? Despite bore tech being so highly reviewed, I see a lot of posts about it still not fitting correctly or that it can be tricky to get into place and will leak solvent all over.

Cleaning rods - I only have a cheap hoppes and some other brand rod that is 3 pieces. They don't feel too sturdy, but maybe its because the only 22lr ive cleaned recently with it is a 10/22 with a Kidd barrel. I hear cz457 barrels are quite a bit tighter than standard 22lr, The Pro Varmint doesn't have a match barrel afaik but I still saw posts about regular 22lr boresnakes, jags and such not fitting.

I don't currently do any competition shooting(future plans) and maybe I am just overthinking this right now. Do I want .17 cal or .20 cal brushes/jags to fit better? Will a .17 cal brush even clean anything? Should I just use my existing chamber mop/brush I use on my 10/22 when I get more rounds through the CZ and worry about what will fit in the barrel later?

Spending ~$120 for a cleaning rod and bore guide seems excessive when itll only be usable for my one rifle(10/22 isn't drilled). I would rather put that on extra ammo and magazines. There are cheaper alternatives I found(raiseek) but with mixed opinions again. Any feedback or opinions on this stuff specifically with the cz457 in mind is appreciated!
