The 4th of July is over!!!
Gonna vent for a minute...The 4th of July is over! That means that the jack×××es who bought a small fortune worth of fireworks should now be taking everything they had left over from last night and cramming up their rear ends and lighting the fuse. A veteran friend of mine with severe PTSD chose to check himself into a mental health facility for the weekend rather than deal with this crap. My dogs are living their annual weekend of terror despite calming treats, melatonin and benadryl, and I have to go to work in the morning! I don't want to hear you light your firecrackers one at a time!
Maybe next 4th of July I'll just drive up in front of your house and put 10 rounds through your front window. That way you can understand what my dogs feel like. We live in a tinderbox and there is a statewide burn ban, so why TF are fireworks even sold in Las Cruces? Maybe next year will be the year all of those damn things are finally illegal and setting them off is a 3rd degree arson charge. Its certainly animal abuse to say the least.
