how do i proceed with this moist ceiling tile?

noticed this today, i’m assuming it’s a leak from the AC orrrr the rain we’ve had the past weekend. there was a leaking part of the ceiling just the area over - yes my building is falling apart

i work at an animal hospital, was working in our kennels but the maintenance tech got fired and i took on a lot of his responsibilities. i want to learn more, im certainly very amateur but dont know where to start…
