I was thinking about how to translate "autumn weather" into Norse. My best bet was "haustveðr". In Norwegian (my native language), there are sometimes linking morphemes. In this case, the Norwegian translation would be "haustvær / høstvær", which uses no linking morpheme. But, I don't know if Norse would be the same. And perhaps there's other aspects of this construction that I haven't considered?

Also, what would be the runic form of haustveðr (or the correct version of it, if it is wrong) in the Younger Futhark alphabet?
