HRT progress / fears
alright, so here comes my next post, im 22F and i have been on HRT for almost a month now! yippie! so lets go over the positives:
for one, my breasts are starting to bud which is a very good sign !!! my skin feels way softer to the touch instead of less "coarse" id say? idk. my mental health has gotten a bit better and im not thinking about ending my life anymore, though, i still have lots of dysphoria moments depsite being on HRT but i think itll work out overtime...not sure! i feel a lot more chatty and i am def able to feel strong emotions a lot easier!!!
that being said...none of these changes are really that extreme, and its worrying me a lot. maybe im just being impatient i dont really know but i currently take estriadol valerate, 4mg every 5 days and such and so far i havent seen huge changes and ive been kinda dissapointed / worried that this stuff isnt working? idk. how was it for you guys? id love to hear. once i get my levels checked in july in def bumping up to 5mg and maybe even 6mg. but, again, i want to hear how progress was for you guys. ive also begun socially transitioning. which so far its going...alright? its kinda hard since my dad and sister dont even know im trans and im taking hrt behind my whole familie's back. i plan to tell them one day but thatll be a post for another time.
anyways, sorry about the long ramble i like to yap about these things. what do you guys think? anything would help me out a ton. :)
