How would you move forward with your league?
League set-up: 10 teams, h2h points, 30 keepers. Free league, just for fun and trash talking
We have had our league since 2015, with mostly the same crew intact most of the time, with 1 or 2 teams having a rotating owners the first 4 years before locking them down.
Recently, we have had 1 team come forward and say they are not rejoining the league next year. We are going to boot out one guy who hasnt paid attention at all this year (our first 0 win season) and had checked out halfway last year. We had another guy who has complained every year, and technically left but came back and has caused issues the last few weeks. And we know his buddy will leave when this owner isn't invited back.
Normally on those 1 off teams that leave, we cut the keepers down to 20 and reset the draft pool a bit. We were pretty democratic with this decision and had a vote on how to proceed. But it was unanimously voted yes for that system.
This time, with 4 teams leaving, I am wondering if we reset the league in full. We have some guys interested in coming in, but hard to pick who gets the 0 win team who really has players with low to no trade value and no prospects, who gets the stacked team, and who gets the middle of the road team with one or two good moves being competitive.
I have half my guys who will be left including the co-commish that want to keep things as is as they just got out of rebuilds, and i got the other 2 plus me who think this might be the time to reboot everyones team and start fresh. It is tough as after 12 seasons of history, we have never had a full redraft before and i also like my team and how stacked it is.
Just curious what other people in this community would do and how they would move forward in this situation
